HEADBOGGLE Derek Gedalecia, a.k.a. Headboggle, has been performing electronic keyboard-based soundscapes for several years in the Bay Area in over a hundred local performances at venues ranging from GTK to YBCA. Incorporating lowbrow with highbrow art, music, and comedy, Head Boggle’s intent is to fuse together a new ecstatic improvisational performance style with a carefully crafted musical underbed. In his formative years, Gedalecia studied classical and ragtime piano from noted ragtime composer/revivalist Dr. Brian Dykstra.

Veronica “Vern” Avola is a composer, multimedia artist, instructor and community organizer born in Rapallo, Italy and based in Portland, Oregon. She founded EMS Records. Avola has released several albums on Sige Recordings, An Out Recordings, Accident Prone Records, Gravity Records and Nadine Records. Avola has other collaborative works with Daniel Menche (Bear Spray), Elrond, Vo Vo and Dead.

Malocculsion, or Michael Daddona, is a sound, visual, and performance artist currently based in Oakland,CA, currently exploring relationships of sound, the body and the exterior space in which they exist, psychosis, mortality, the prison system and the omnipresent entropic trap door of life. Through high tension multimedia performances , videos, photography, sculpture, curation, and other various documents, Malocculsion explores the negative spaces of our perceived realities, and the social and physical spaces that surround us

ABOUT THIS TOUR: @Headboggle and @Ratskin Records is ecstatic to announce “Virtual Digital Digital Analog” a ten day virtual tour in support of his new LP on Ratskin Records of the same name (DDA), which was released In September 2021. Headboggle will be joined by 3-4 artists in each “virtual city” for a unique billing each night. There will also be a virtual merch store / virtual space featuring merch from all participating artists on the tour, as well as tour exclusive merch from Headboggle and Malocculsion (opening support).

Although we wish we could be presenting this tour live as originally intended, for the safety and security of friends and family we’re going to keep this one online.
